Junior Security Analyst, Threat Detection Operations
In this role, you will develop and maintain the signals, tools, and infrastructure that help Google evolve to match attackers. You will conduct and guide others in security analysis, risk hunting, and malware and indicator analysis. You will manage malicious activity on Google's networks. You will perform analysis of risks on enterprise, production, and cloud environments.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, investigate, and respond to security alerts.
Research new risk hunting techniques to identify/discover security risks.
Automate workflows and develop solutions to reduce operational toil.
Ensure compliance with legal mandates and internal security and privacy policies.
Manage response efforts for low severity incidents.
