Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers to join our growing team in Berlin. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality software systems that power Revolut's innovative financial products. This is an opportunity to work on complex, large-scale distributed systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers. Key responsibilities include: * Designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable microservices. * Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features. * Ensuring the quality and performance of our systems through rigorous testing and monitoring. * Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence. * Contributing to the evolution of our technology stack and best practices. What we’re looking for: * 5+ years of experience in software engineering. * Strong proficiency in at least one of Go, Java, or Python. * Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. * Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes. * Proven experience in designing and building microservices and distributed systems. * Familiarity with TDD/BDD and CI/CD practices. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
