The Growth Data Products (GDP) team drives GetYourGuide's growth by transforming raw marketing data into reliable, self-service insights and automated decision systems. This work spans various growth channels including Paid and Organic Search, Display Advertising, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Brand Marketing, Marketing Attribution, Experimentation, and Customer Lifetime Value measurement. The team empowers faster, smarter decisions at scale, turning data into actionable intelligence. As a Senior Data Scientist, your mission will be to develop innovative data products that delight customers and drive company success. This involves taking full ownership of projects from business challenge to production deployment, including analyzing large datasets, building and maintaining robust data pipelines, establishing rigorous evaluation and monitoring strategies, and optimizing data products post-deployment. You will also contribute to machine learning infrastructure, establish best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional technology and business teams.

Skills Required

• Machine Learning (deploying models in production, ML techniques, distributed ML)
• Analytics (data to actionable insights, hypothesis testing, pandas/polars, SQL/Spark)
• LLMs and Agentic AI (prompt design, tool use, orchestration (LangChain), retrieval/RAG, evaluator design, guardrails, tracing/observability)
• Software Engineering Proficiency in Python
• Spark (distributed machine learning and computing frameworks)
• Business Acumen
• Communication
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
• Data science in marketing and growth
