FORM3 is a leading payment technology company seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team in Berlin. You will be instrumental in building and scaling our data platform, empowering data-driven decisions across the organization. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines, implementing efficient ETL processes, and contributing to our data warehousing strategy. Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines. - Develop and optimize ETL processes for efficient data ingestion and transformation. - Contribute to the design and implementation of our data warehousing solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering. - Utilize cloud-native services and tools for data processing and storage. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. - Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. - Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. - Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Spark and Kafka. - Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques. - Experience with ETL tools and frameworks. - Familiarity with CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform). - Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
